I warmly welcome you to the Universidad Autónoma de Baja California (UABC), a leading institution in higher education in northwestern Mexico; that has earned the trust of Baja Californian society for more than 65 years, with the training of competent professionals who contribute to solving problems in the region and the country.

For me and the UABC; students are our highest priority, which is why we strive every day to offer quality professional training that meets disciplinary advances; as well as social, economic, environmental and technological transformations. In addition, we seek that this training will be an experience of true human development, that considers the acquisition of skills for work and strengthens the attitudes and values that make community life possible.

We have a consolidated academic community that holds high recognition by educational and research instances at a federal level. A good part of the teachers are, at the same time, outstanding professionals in their respective fields of occupation.

We are an institution concerned with generating knowledge that is useful to the society on the topics of sustainable development, as an obligation from the university mission itself.
